As I lay thinking here , about what life could have been

About how you are the prettiest thing , I've ever seen

About the first time we met , about your innocent smile

The scent of you , drives me crazy , even after all this while


Poetry is not really my forte , no it is not

This poem might sound absurd to all you intellectuals , but just give it a thought

How would you feel , if you had been away from your love , for years

You wouldn't know how it feels , to have wept all those tears

The one that understands me , the one who is in my mind

None of you can ever know how it feels , to go through this grind


Life's really hard , but if you are with me , we'll make it through

Nothing else matters , cos' our feelings are true

Screw them who say , that long distance relationships don't work out

We've had problems and rough patches during this time , no doubt

But keep your trust in me , and I'll never let you down

Keep smiling mota , cos' you look silly when you frown :P
